Meet Michael

Michael grew up in small-town Ohio. The youngest of three, he was often left to his own imagination – immersed in make believe with echoes of Shel Silverstein poems bouncing in between his ears.

He moved to Sydney in 2009 and married his wife. He began writing children's books during their IVF journey. Some years later, after their dream of having children didn’t work out the way they had intended, Michael looked for another way to share all of his "Dad energy," and writing for children became that much more important to him.

The Magic Stick Box is his debut book.
